WHOIS Observation Export beta

WHOIS Observation Export

The export contains up to one normalized observation per domain per UTC day from qualifying fresh, successful GET /v1/whois or GET /v2/whois lookups. It has no pre-DomScan or global archive and no registrant identity or contact history. Cached, bulk, history-read, and traditional WHOIS-only requests add nothing. Use it for change triage with independent evidence, not as proof of ownership, a sale, or a transfer.

Product status
Available now DomScan storefront, CT and RDAP source work, scoped custom export conversations, and early buyer intake.
In beta Dataset slices are sold through beta access with competitive pricing, clear fields, and practical delivery formats.
Planned next CZDS, zone files, selected ccTLDs, DNS, HTTP, IP, ASN, SSL, reputation, and security enrichment.

Dataset brief

What this page is actually for

A shorter buyer snapshot: useful signals, the best request shape, delivery, and pricing logic.

Use this for scoped change triage across observed registrar, date, nameserver, status, DNSSEC, transfer-lock, and privacy signals. Gaps mean no qualifying observation, and the export does not prove ownership, a sale, or a transfer.

Useful signals

A qualifying lookup can add at most one snapshot per domain per UTC day, starting only when DomScan observes the domain.

Best request

Cached responses, bulk lookups, history reads, and traditional WHOIS-only fallbacks add nothing. A gap means no qualifying observation was recorded.

Delivery

CSV or JSON observation exports with observed dates, normalized fields, and clear coverage notes.

Pricing

Beta pricing scoped by row count, observation window, and delivery requirements.
