# Best practices

#### 2. Batch your requests

Use the bulk endpoint instead of making multiple individual requests.

#### 3. Check coverage first

Inspect RDAP endpoint mappings: `GET /v1/coverage`. This is not a complete lookup-support list; some TLDs use traditional WHOIS fallback.

#### 4. Handle errors gracefully

Implement retry logic with exponential backoff for transient failures.
